This is the real Mileage Log — the same tool Untracked sells as a download — running free, right here in your browser. Everything is processed entirely on your own device: nothing is uploaded, no account is needed, and the page makes no network requests after it loads. Does it track my location?

No — that's the point. You enter trips by hand (odometer start/end or direct miles). There is no GPS, no background tracking, and nothing about your trips is sent anywhere.

Which deduction rate does it use?

Business trips use the IRS-style standard mileage rate (currently 67¢/mile in the tool); medical, charity and personal tags apply their own rates — or none. The rate is a constant at the top of the file, so you can adjust it when the rate changes.

How do I get my log out?

One click exports a CSV (date, purpose, tag, miles, rate, deductible) that opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets — ready to attach to your tax return.

What does the paid version add?
